Worked at Nagatsuzuki Participações Ltda. (Caramuru Foods), from 2006 to 2017, as Partner and Member of the Board of Directors, and has, since 2003, managed ABS Administração e Participações Ltda. Founding partner and Director of the “Infrastructure Brazilian Center” Centro Brasileiro de Infra Estrutura (CBIE). Doctorate in Industrial Economics at Université Paris XIII (1987), Master’s in Energy Planning at COPPE/UFRJ (1983) and graduated as an Economist at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1980). He has been working in the energy sector for over 30 years. His last experience in government was at Agência Nacional de Petróleo – ANP (“The National Petroleum Agency”), where he acted as Advisor to the Director General, Superintendent of Oil Imports and Exports, as well as oil derivatives, natural gas and Superintendent of Supply. At the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, he worked as a professor, researcher and consultant for international companies and entities. He developed research and teaching activities in the areas of regulatory economics; infrastructure economics; legal and institutional aspects of providing public services and public tariffs.
He is a shareholder of the Caramuru Corporate Group and coordinator of the Board of Directors’ Strategy Committee. Since 2010, he has directed the Group founded by his father Múcio de Souza Rezende.
He led the implementation of Caramuru’s logistics project for the transportation of the Brazilian Midwest production, investing in the construction of intermodal terminals in Pederneiras and Anhembi, in addition to port terminals in Santos.
As well as performing functional roles in the industry, he is a board member at ADIAL – Pro-Industrial Development Association of the State of Goiás, serves as Vice President at APROBIO – Brazilian Biodiesel Producers Association, and is an active member of community-based entities.
He was selected eleven times as “Corporate Leader of the Food industry and Corporate Leader of the State” and was honored during Ernst & Young’s “2011 Entrepreneur Award”.

He worked as an administrative assistant at the company Agropecuária Itapuã from 1995 to 2001. From 2001 to 2002, he was a Supply Chain Consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. In 2002, he was an Enterprise Risk Services – ERS consultant at Deloitte Touche Thomatsu. Today, in addition to his duties at Grupo Caramuru, he has been Managing Director at Grupo JBPS, in Londrina, PR, since 2002, and participates in Strategic Committees for Corn, Sunflower / Mix and General Warehouses and Special Products Committee for Commodities, Soy and Derivatives, and Logistics at Grupo Caramuru. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Caramuru Alimentos S.A. Since May 2013, she has been administrative manager responsible for property management and managerial control at ABS Administração e Participações. From February 2013 to March 2014, she participated in the heir trainee program of Caramuru Alimentos S/A. From December 2008 to December 2012, she was a Material Management Consultant at Politec, advising on the implementation of SAP Electronic Invoices. Between August 2007 and November 2008, she was Material Management and Master Data Management consultant in SAP project implementation at Sonda Procwork; and between September 2000 and May 2001, she was Material Management consultant in SAP implementation projects.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in (i) Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas – FGV in 1998; and (ii) Geobiology and Habitat Medicine in March 2023. She also completed the English for International Business Program at University of California, Berkeley; and a French Program at Châteu Mont-Choici Lausame.

He is a shareholder and member of the Board of Directors of Caramuru Alimentos S.A. He is also part of the Corn, Sunflower/Mix and General Warehouses Committee, as well as the Special Soybean and Byproducts Commodities and Logistics Committee of Caramuru Alimentos S.A.
In addition to performing functional roles in the industry, he is a managing partner of JBPS Administradora and JBPS Agropecuária, headquartered in the city of Londrina, in the state of Paraná, with a branch in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. He worked in the Tax Planning area of Arthur Andersen S/C.

Executive Management
Since 1979, he has been directing the Retail Logistics and Commodities area. He has a history of strong performance in various segments: Roads, Railways, Ports, Waterways, Maritime, Regulatory Agencies, and Others. He is knowledgeable about and works in Total Quality Management, specializing in logistics, and also actively participates in several lectures and seminars on logistics. He is the main representative on the Technical Committee for the Tietê-Paraná Waterway (CTHTP), representing the exporters segment. He is part of the Editorial Board of Revista Ferroviária and the COINFRA/FIEG Thematic Council on Infrastructure. He specialized in Foreign Trade at the Faculdade Estadual de Ciências Econômicas de Apucarana Estado do Paraná and in Logistics at the Universidade Católica Dom Bosco in Campo Grande.
He joined the company in August 1988. Currently, as Director of Origination and Warehouses he is responsible for directing the storage unit activities in the operational, administrative and business areas, and is responsible for the origination, receipt, quality and conservation of received and stored grains. He works in and coordinates General Warehouses and is responsible for operational storage when originating the raw material target determined in the guidelines, integrating with grain logistics, processing and exporting from the states of Goiás and Mato Grosso. Majored in Accounting at Universidade Luterana do Brasil – ULBRA, and received an MBA in Strategic Business Management from Faculdade Pitágoras de Uberlândia, MG.
He joined the company in July 1998. He worked as a Market Operator for Bran, Soy Oil and Soy Grains and in commodities at the Chicago Stock Exchange. Currently, as Director of Soy, he is responsible for coordinating the flow of soy supply to industrial plants as well as for exports. He is responsible for keeping the entire soy chain integrated, considering origination, storage, transport, industry, port and sales . He coordinates and defines the purchase policy for transgenic soy for Grupo Caramuru. He is also responsible for the soy, oil, bran and biodiesel sales policy for domestic and/or foreign markets, in addition to carrying out biodiesel sales. He majored in Business Administration at ULBRA – ILES Universidade Luterana de Ensino Superior in Itumbiara, He participated in the PDG – Managers Development Program with the Caramuru Alimentos S.A. company. In June of 2018, he completed Training for Consultants and Facilitator Leaders course at ADIGO Desenvolvimento and is currently studying for his MBA in Business Management at FGV – Uberlândia, MG campus.
He joined the company in June 1990. In 1994, as a treasury assistant, he was responsible for the company’s cash flow, application of funds, exchange closing and balance sheets. From 1995 to 2002, he took on the responsibility of regional sales coordinator, in the area of consumption and coordination of products for soy oil and special oils, adding on the functions of northeast business leader from 1998 to 2006. In 2000, he assumed management of Sales Administration, structuring and developing the area within the commercial department. From 2002 to 2005, he worked as a trader in the commodities area, responsible for soy oil sales in the domestic and export markets and bran sales policy in the domestic market. From 2006 to 2015, he assumed sales management for animal and industrial consumption in the domestic market and, in 2009, commercial management for the following segments: Retail (Consumer Products); Animal Segments; Industrial and Sales Management. Focused on planning, results and team building, adding the position of Sunflower Business Leader of the company. In 2018, he took over as Commercial Director, which encompasses the areas of animal nutrition and consumer products (Sinhá Brand), being responsible for Sinhá brand product sales and launches in the national market, seeking to enhance the brand. He majored in Business Administration at ULBRA – ILES (Universidade Luterana de Ensino Superior em Itumbiara, in GO), with an MBA in Business Management and Marketing from USP (Universidade de São Paulo), in 2013 he was a member of the 2nd PDG (Management Development Program ) class of Grupo Caramuru. In 2015 he completed a course to be a consultant and team leader at ADIGO (Association for the Development of Individuals, Groups and Organizations in RJ/SP.).
He joined the company in August 1980 as an office assistant. He worked in the Export and Financial Areas. In 2003, he became the ADM/Finance Director for Grupo Caramuru, with facilities in Goiás, Paraná, Mato Grosso and São Paulo. Responsible for the areas: Administrative/Financial, Rural Producer credit, carrying out exports. He coordinates the entire capital flow for Grupo Caramuru, such as: destination of financial resources and sources of funding for working capital and investments. Brazilian, 59 years old, married, resident of Itumbiara (GO). Majored in Business Administration at ULBRA – ILES Universidade Luterana de Ensino Superior in Itumbiara, with an MBA – Training for Senior Executives from FEA / USP-SP / Banco do Brasil. Participated in the PDG – Manager Development Program at Caramuru Alimentos S.A.
He joined Caramuru in 1991. From 1991 to 1995, he acted as Production Supervisor for Extracting and Refining Vegetable Oils. He was Industrial Manager at the São Simão unit, responsible for industrial management of soy. In 2003, he became the Industrial Director and, since 2007, has been the Director of New Business for Grupo Caramuru. He is knowledgeable about and works in Total Quality Management. He majored in Chemical Engineering at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia in Minas Gerais in October 1991 and received an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in June 2001.
Marcus Thieme has a degree in economics from Universidade Mackenzie (1995), has a long-term specialization in applied economics in financial markets from FIPE/FEA (1998) and an MBA (no dissertation/diploma) from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada ( 1999-2001). Throughout his career, he has held several positions in areas related to the capital market, at Banco Pactual from 1992 to 1998, at RBC Capital Markets (Toronto, Canada) from 2001 to 2007; at Vale S.A. from 2007 to 2009; at Tenda Construtora Tenda S.A. from 2009 to 2010; and worked at Citibank as vice president of ADR services in Brazil between 2010 and 2011. Between 2011 and 2017, he served as Statutory Executive Director of Tereos Internacional S.A., responsible for the Investor Relations area, and from 2014-2017 he was a member of the Guarani Board of Directors. Between 2018 and 2019, he acted as investor relations Head at Bunge Açúcar e Bionergia S/A, and in 2020 he held the same role at ONE Empreendimentos Imobiliários. Since January 2021, he has held the role of Statutory Director of Investor Relations at Caramuru Alimentos S.A. Marcus Thieme is also certified to act as a Fiscal Board member, which was issued by the IBGC in January 2020.
Since 2003, she has been directing the company’s Human Resources Area, which encompasses Human Resources, Health and Safety, Quality Management, Communication, Social Responsibility and Customer Service, and since 2016, she has directed the area of Institutional Relations, responsible for promoting the company’s relationship with strategic audiences within the scope of government bodies and entities representing society – NGOs, unions, federations, associations and communities. She coordinates Caramuru’s organizational development process, having already given structure to the implementation of the company’s Vision, Mission, Values and Code of Ethics and Conduct, as well as the implementation of the Institutional Human Resources Policy, the Institutional Communication Policy and the Process of Strategic planning. She coordinates the Social Program “Aprendendo com Você” (“Learning With You”), developing activities with municipal schools and the community. She works as a volunteer at the Junior Achievement Goiás unit. There she implements projects and serves as President. She majored in Psychology at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia with a specialization in Human Resources Administration and received an MBA in Agribusiness from MKP/Caramuru with a specialization in consultant training from Adigo Desenvolvimento.
He joined the company in October 1983. He worked in the Financial area as a treasury supervisor. In 1987, he started working in the Information Technology area, working as an operator, programmer, analyst, supervisor, manager, and currently he is the Information Technology Director of Grupo Caramuru. He is responsible for preparing Information Technology master plans that define what investments and technology projects are necessary for the company’s business. He majored in Business Administration, and Administration in Foreign Trade from the Faculdade Estadual de Ciências Econômicas de Apucarana (PR). Postgraduate degree in Information Systems from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina (PR) and an MBA from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
Sílvia Nascimento has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Escola Superior De Ciências Contábeis e Administrativa (located in the city of Ituiutaba, state of Minas Gerais), a graduate degree in Accounting Analysis and Auditing from the State University of Goiás (located in the city of Anápolis, state of Goiás), and a master’s degree in Business from University Fernando Pessoa in Portugal confirmed by the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). She has knowledge of Corporate Governance, State and Federal Tax Legislation, Accounting Rules, and Risk Management. She was an Accounting and Tax Supervisor at Sementes Selecta (located in the city of Goiatuba, state of Goiás), where she was also responsible for the Accounting, Tax, and Personnel Department areas. She joined Caramuru in 2001 as an Accounting Expert and later occupied the positions of Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Coordinator, Federal Tax Coordinator, and Internal Audit/Compliance/Risk Management/Internal Control Manager at the Caramuru Corporate Group, which is a leading company in the food industry in Brazil.
He joined Caramuru in 2007 as Refinery and Bottling Manager for vegetable oils. He was Industrial Manager at AmBev at the João Pessoa, PB unit, where he was responsible for the Bottling area, and, today he is the Industrial Director of Caramuru, ranking among the best “Food” companies in Brazil. He implemented and monitored the following for Grupo Caramuru: The modernization and expansion of the corn derivatives plant in Itumbiara, coordinating the completion of the project and the efficiency curve of the new process. Participated in the project to expand the capacity of the Biodiesel plant in São Simão, GO, from 375m3 to 625m3. Directly participated in operations that increased the production of the Refinery and Bottling Plant with a reduction in industrial costs. Directly participated in the construction and management of new industrial units in Ipameri (Biodiesel, Crushing and Refined Glycerin) and Sorriso (Crushing, Lecithin, SPC and Biodiesel). Is knowledgeable about and works with Total Quality Management. He is responsible for the Quality area of the company’s processes and products. He majored in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Estadual Paulista – UNESP Guaratinguetá, São Paulo, received an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and an MBA in Agribusiness from MKP/Caramuru.
He joined the company in March 1987. Currently, as International Commodities Director, he is responsible for directing all of the company’s overseas sales in the soy, corn and differentiated commodities segment. Also, as the Chief Operating Officer of the unit in Sorriso, MT, he is responsible for the commercialization of SPC – Soy Protein Concentrate, Biodiesel, Lecithin, among others, with the predominant role of promoting the involvement of all related areas – Origination, storage, transport , finance and commercial – in order to ensure integration of the entire soy chain of this unit, which is located in the north of Mato Grosso. In Total Quality Management, he is responsible for policy and management of the Non-GMO Hard IP Program – the soy production chain’s total traceability program, in order to ensure the preserved identity of products (brans, SPC, lecithin) that are free from transgenic contamination. He also cooperates and participates in the company’s Biodiesel Marketing Policy. Majored in Foreign Trade at the União Educacional de Brasília – UNEB and, received a postgraduate degree in Business Management & Marketing from Fundação para Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento da Administração, Contabilidade e Economia, Fundação de Apoio à Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade at the Universidade de São Paulo (FUNDACE-FEARP-USP).

Since 1970, he has been directing Caramuru Alimentos SA, founded by his father, Múcio de Souza Rezende, with industrial undertakings and provision of services in the states of Amapá, Goiás, Pará, Paraná, Mato Grosso and São Paulo, positioning himself as the main group of national capital in the processing of soy, corn, sunflower and canola, dedicated to the storage and industrialization of grains, extraction and refining of oils, export of soy in grain, bran, oil, lecithin, Soy Protein Concentrate – SPC e, in the production of biodiesel. It is stands out for “soybean complex” transport logistics, with strong investments in the Port of Santos, Porto de Santana, in railroads and in the Tietê-Paraná and Tapajós-Amazonas Waterways.
In addition to his functional attributions in the industry, he participates in ADIAL – Associação Pró-Developmento Industrial do Estado de Goiás, acts as a Counselor at APROBIO – Association of Biodiesel Producers in Brazil and participates as an active member with community entities.
Eleven times, he was chosen as “Business Leader of the Food Sector and State Business Leader” and was honored in the “2011 Entrepreneur Award”, by Ernst & Young.
Brazilian, 71 years old, married, resident in Itumbiara-GO since 1975, graduated in Economic Sciences from the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Apucarana, State of Pará.
She worked as Manager of Finance and Expenses at Agropecuária Itapuã, located in Londrina, PR, and provided auditing services and drafted reports. She worked as a business, finance and expense management consultant. She was an audit assistant at Arthur Andersen S/C, located in São Paulo, SP; a Finance and Expense Analyst at Dixie Toga SA, located in Londrina, PR; and, she worked in the commodities for Unifac Agro Indústria, located in Lisbon, Portugal. Today, she is a shareholder of JBPS Administradora and JBPS Agropecuária, based in Londrina, Paraná with a branch in Mato Grosso do Sul. She participates on the Board of Directors of Caramuru and on its Committees: the Economic-Financial Committee and Statutory Audit Committee. He is responsible for keeping the entire soy chain integrated, considering origination, storage, transport, industry, port and sales . He coordinates and defines the purchase policy for transgenic soy for Grupo Caramuru. He is also responsible for the soy, oil, bran and biodiesel sales policy for domestic and/or foreign markets, in addition to carrying out biodiesel sales. In 2000, he assumed management of Sales Administration, structuring and developing the area within the commercial department. From 2002 to 2005, he worked as a trader in the commodities area, responsible for soy oil sales in the domestic and export markets and bran sales policy in the domestic market.
